I really need to stay away from reading the latest about the California Governator and his prison budgets… cuz, it really pisses me off! In a way, I really wanna know what is going on with our money, but then when I find out, I just get upset because its jacked and there seems to be little anyone can do to relieve popular hysteria that is allowing the large prison unions to suck us all dry.

The California Parole system is broken, but it is broken for a good reason, to line the pockets of the correction system unions with 6 figure salaries, people who would only be qualified to work at Jack-in-the-crack without them. I mean, you need tons of people to get tons in overtime and they make sure getting tons of people is no problem. Civil rights? hell, they got trumped by 100k+ salaries to idiots who flunked out of pre-school.

Seriously, the California prison system is one of the largest on the planet with the highest rate of paperwork and parole violators on the planet to match. The Governator just asked for billions more to build more California prisons so California can hire more cousins as guards and give people prison time on their parking tickets so more guards can buy those gas guzzling Hummers they seem to love. Hell, almost makes you wish you were related to a California prison guard, no need for education or even 1/2 a braincell, they take care of their own, ya know.

There is a family I know, if it wasn’t for the correction officer union they would all be on welfare and there is over a dozen of em. They make me sick, always saying how great it is to be able to vote for your own raises and be able to hire all your friends and family. Yep, they claim they vote on whether to get a raise or not… ahh, let me think about that one… “I vote not. California is in a budget crisis ya know… my new Maseratti can wait! DUHHH!”

The sad fact is that the California parole board makes it very hard for parolees to NOT get violated. Getting pulled over for a traffic ticket may get you a year and 3 years of parole no matter what the original sentence, is mandatory. Many people do more time on violations than the original offense, keeping the union fat and happy.

Many parolees are forced into crazy restrictions, even though they are now “free”. I just saw a story about a block of houses in the ghetto. It seems that the parole officers are FORCING the parolees to live there. Once there, they are not allowed to get back to work and are made to file for welfare, whether they want to or not. The welfare is to pay for the housing and the fleet of BMW’s (and all the gold teeth) the cousin, sorry, I mean the home owner wants.

They stack bunk beds 10 deep in the bedrooms and force the “free” men to stay there and pay rent with the welfare money that gets sent directly to the cousin, sorry, the homeowner. If the men have a home and a job to go to and actually leave… well, it’s a violation and another year in prison.

I talked to this kid, he was about 21, he told me he refused to go on welfare, he said he had a wife and child to take care of and if he did the welfare, they would take it out of HER paychecks from work (his wife), he was actually allowed to work (after many complaint letters) and tried to work but the job was 50 miles away from house and it took 2 hours on a bus to get to work. He said they refused to allow him to live closer to his job, seems it was just too much paperwork. Anyway, he is now back in prison because he was late coming back twice… 2 to 3 hours late… Once because of the bus and once because his boss needed some overtime. His wife and child? well, seems their home is now in foreclosure because she just can not pay all the bills alone. Child support? she gets none because “cousin” takes the welfare check. He needs a few more 140″ flat panel plasma tv’s, to give as gifts to the union members that set him up, fat, collecting welfare checks for 30 fools living in his 3 bedroom house. All thanks to the Governator and the State of California!

Here is a quote regarding this issue..

Whoa! Take a deep breath for a minute. I happen to be a Correctional Officer in a state institution that holds about 7200 inmates. I must say (and I am a progressive) that you don’t want these men back on the streets. Many can barely read, don’t have a work ethich other than selling dope, and are prone to violence. God knows what people are capable of doing while under the influence. Be careful what you pray for, you just may get it…

Funny how “ethic” is mis-spelled above from the original quote. That attitude sums us the California budget crisis in regards to the bloated prison population. “God forbid that someone who can not read, be taught how to read, hey, they would then be able to read the paperwork, point out the mis-spellings and maybe some other bullshit being spread on taxpayers.

Just throw them into the bottomless hole where they belong and do everything possible to keep them there for years after the original sentence was completed, drain dry the struggling taxpaying families, schools and social programs to lock up as many people as possible for as long as possible “. Speaking about being prone to violence… I saw some news piece some time back about the Corcoran prison guards who were setting up prison fights to the death for the sake of their own entertainment and gambling… Does that qualify as violent? Criminal sentencing needs to stay where it belongs, with the justice system, NOT the labor unions and their kin.
Unrealistic parole rules set as a blanket, regardless of the individual situation is insane. What is sick ass shit is that the only reason they make it impossible for the parolee’s to get back into society, work and family is to make sure the prisons stay FULL. Without full prisons, there would be no need for tons of overtime! It sickens me that every other state wants parolees to get to work and become self-sufficient while California forces them into insane conditions, all set up to bring them back into prison for the 3 years! WTF Taxpayers? We need school books NOT welfare for parolees that are not allowed to work.

Crazy thing is, that 21 year old kid also said that he tried smoking crack at the house for the first time ever(he was not into drugs, he went to prison over a stupid drunken braw). He said everyone is so bored that all there is left to do is dope. Thats great, my 28% of income tax is going into starting some kids drug problem and keeping up the neighborhood’s crack house. GO GO Governator!

wanna know more about the governator Arnie and the california budget due to intentional prison overcrowding to make a few rich? read this article about how much money California may waste as our school children lack the funds needed for things like…. books

This sums it all up, comment from another article about needing billions more yearly to build more prisons..

I find California’s prison system to be a “MONEY PIT”. And until they revise the Sentensing process and Parole System and get these parts out of the hands of the Prison Unions their will never be an answer. California has turned the Fox Loose in the Hen house.

Bro, the Union’s foxes seem to have penned up not just the hens, but every rooster, turkey and pigeon for their pluckings.

Making money hand over fist and still taking..

People need to be more educated in the real reason why more prison are being build. I college student and my research has been on the Prison Industrial Compex. PRISONS ARE THE NEW SLAVE TRADE. Fortune 500 and multi-billion dollar corporations such as McDonalds, Microsoft, Boeing, Sprint, Compaq, Toys R Us, and Revlon and Victoria ’s Secret use prison labor for packing, telemarketing, and manufacturing. Hattery, Angela and Smith, Earl. (2006) The prison industrial complex. Sociation Today, 4 (2).

Wow, I thought slavery was outlawed long ago, guess I was wrong… you can always use some more slaves, especially when you can charge taxpayers to keep them without them ever being the wiser.

kytv_hutchinson-mace-hospital.jpgMore sick police brutality, I wonder where the dash cam video is of this shit. This is not a new story. Actually, it happened a few weeks back but for some reason I am just hearing about it.

Seems a 16 year old boy fell off a bridge for reasons unknown. He fell 30 feet onto the freeway below and luckily lived. He did break his back as a few other things. Here is the controversy…

When the police arrived, they claimed he was not cooperating with their orders( as in stand up) and tasered the kid with the broken back who was bloodied and just fell off a 30 foot bridge 19 TIMES! YES, 19 times. They did not question whether he could stand up, but just kept zapping him for not doing so. I guess after 19 times and a few witness statements they may have realized… well, he just couldn’t stand up due to the whole broken back problem.

Now, correct me if I am wrong, but isn’t it customary to NOT MOVE anyone who may have a broken back or neck? Also, this kid is not a criminal, or a suspect to any crime, he is just laying under a bridge, bloody, for reasons unknown when the cops arrive.

19 TIMES!

Now, the excuse by the cops is this… he was being incoherent (wonder why? 30 feet of gravity maybe) and they were using the tasers to subdue him for “his own safety” so he would stay away from traffic.

What the f@ck are these fools thinking in Texas? Not sure if this is real or fake, but it sounds about right for some of the thinking in that neighborhood.
I read today that the Texas GOB(Good Ole Boys) had a GOP meeting and had made these lovely pins asking the ridiculous question. I gotta admit, with some of the political intelligence that has come from the great state of Texas (GWB and friends), I can understand their confusion.

gop-racism.jpg

I have a better question to the GOP. Do you fools REALLY fund that shit or better yet, accept money from the hicks who dared even participate in that meeting? Scratch that, I already know the answer.

bush-gasoline-golfing.jpgYep, when people (soldiers) are dying, middle eastern children are suffering (parents killed in bombings, but hey… who cares, its thousands of miles away.. out of sight and out of mind), oil is in an all time high (because they can), wartime corporate profits are soaring (I’m glad someone is winning here), Americans are losing their homes (property value seemed to get bloated then go sideways… who would have thunk it?) and every American should in fact be celebrating those 300 dollar tax rebates we all got to help out with the costs (yep, a few weeks of gas for most of us since it is 52 dollars to fill up my 4 cylinder Neon with 13 gallons)…. we can rest assured that our fearless leader wants to show solidarity by giving up his favorite pass time…. OK, 2nd fave pass time. Golf is easier to give up than war.
Not even today, but years back when the war started, Bush gave it up. Seems playing golf while kids are dying (because well… he sent them there) left a bad taste in his mouth, or maybe just bad publicity photos. But, he shows his incredible tendency for self sacrifice by sticking with the golf ban years later. No golf for the Bush. Its been six years now, I wonder how much longer he can hold out.

US President George W. Bush said in an interview out Tuesday that he quit playing golf in 2003 out of respect for the families of US soldiers killed in the conflict in Iraq, now in its sixth year.

“I think playing golf during a war just sends the wrong signal,” he said in an interview for Yahoo! News and Politico magazine.

“I don’t want some mom whose son may have recently died to see the commander-in-chief playing golf,” he said. “I feel I owe it to the families to be in solidarity as best as I can with them.”

So let me get this straight… John Fuller, a cop and ex animal control officer served 35 minutes in jail for horribly abusing his dog.

Most people convicted of the same would end up with a month or two of jail time plus a fine, but all that was suspended for this fool… go figure.

Yes folks.. 35 minutes in jail for starving his dog. The dog was starved so badly that her weight was 1/2 of what it should be. That is about the same as taking a 6 foot male down to a skin and bone weight of 85 lbs. or a 5′2″ woman at 55 lbs.

but since a picture is worth a thousand words, check it out

poor dog starved by a cop in animal abuse case
poor dog starved by a cop in animal abuse case

and here are the facts

A Gaffney police officer will keep his job after pleading guilty on Nov 1, 2007 to starving his dog late last year. John Fuller, 28, of 503 Beech St., who is also a former animal control officer, served 35 minutes in jail after Cherokee County Chief Magistrate Bart Howell sentenced him to time served with no monetary fine after he pleaded guilty to ill treatment of animals.

Fuller was booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center at 9:35 a.m. and was discharged at 10:10 a.m., according to jail records.

A conviction for ill treatment of animals carries up to 60 days in jail and a fine of between $100 and $500. Howell said he completely suspended the fine and wouldn’t comment on the sentence.

Fuller was accused of neglecting to feed his full-grown female boxer, which weighed 32 pounds when an animal control officer seized it from Fuller’s former residence on Oct. 30, 2006, after he moved a couple of days before, according to police documents. The average size for a female boxer is between 55 pounds and 65 pounds.

Mike Carona Gangster Suit
Mike Carona Gangster Suit
Sheriff Carona Is Up To His Old Tricks

An April 2006 study by Virginia Tech and the National Highway Transportation and Safety Administration found that “almost 80 percent of crashes” involve driver inattention to the road “within three seconds” of an accident. The study blamed cell phone use as the most common form of driver distraction. It also noted that other activities—like reaching for a cup or talking to passengers—are statistically more dangerous.

But the federal report didn’t examine cases where a driver uses a cell phone while engaged in sex or smooching. Not to worry. For these dangers we can turn to Orange County Sheriff Mike Carona, the self-proclaimed conservative Christian politician and accused serial adulterer who is seeking re-election on June 6.

Evidence obtained by the Weekly places Carona inside a moving vehicle while, well, affectionately engaged with a then-low ranking sheriff’s department employee. The pair kissed, giggled, moaned, groaned, cleaned up and offered expressions of love. After the 45-minute romp, the female said to Carona, “Do I still smell like you?”

The sheriff said, “A lot! A lot! A lot! A lot! A lot! A lot!”

“How do we hide it?” she replied.

Through a private attorney, the sheriff declined interview requests, demanded a copy of the recording, and implied he might claim it’s been doctored. However, the woman confirmed details of the encounter. She asked that her name not be used in this article for fear of retaliation.

But it’s not just her word. Neither Carona nor the woman knew at the time that their physical activities in the vehicle had inadvertently activated the redial button on a cell phone. And this is where Carona’s already stunning gift for creating scandal becomes legendary. An audio recording of the affair was left on an unwitting person’s telephone answering machine.

This time, the sheriff—a man predisposed to blame his foibles on underlings, friends, acquaintances and the media—had fingered himself, so to speak.

* * *

Powerful politicians often lead double lives, the public versions contrary to reality. In Carona’s case, the gap appears staggering. He portrays himself as a simple man committed to his faith, his family and his duty. But if Carona has proven anything in his seven years in power, it’s that he’s a scandal magnet. Among other well-documented missteps, Carona has:

•partied and accepted contributions from a colorful Las Vegas mafia associate and strip club owner

•given official badges and guns to large campaign contributors, some of them emotionally unstable

•accepted tens of thousands of dollars in illegal contributions, once taking $49,000 from a man with a 30-year crime record

•allowed Joseph Medawar, a con man with ties to Saudi Arabia and now a convicted felon, to film a top-secret anti-terrorist training exercise

•offered free inmate labor to a political campaign contributor

•watched the grand jury indict several close friends on corruption charges

•sent birthday cards to his best friend’s wife—cards in which he referenced “butt floss” and his now notorious penis, which he calls “The Little Sheriff.”

* * *

Last year, as he planned to renege on his pledge to run for no more than two terms, Carona huddled with his PR advisers. He wanted a strategy to downplay the persistent infidelity rumors. The team decided to blame George Jaramillo, the sheriff’s longtime No. 2, who is currently facing bribery charges based on his relationship with a felon he met through Carona. Publicly, they said Jaramillo was determined to spread lies about the sheriff. As for the women who alleged the sheriff had approached them for sex, they were portrayed as nuts.

But the sex stories—all of them told reluctantly, some of them by women compelled to testify under oath before the grand jury—kept coming (so to speak): Carona’s unwelcome phone calls to another man’s wife in hopes of luring her to San Francisco for a weekend sex romp; his persistent interest in a pornographic photo album of females (including county employees) inside the sheriff’s executive suite; using an official helicopter to taxi a mistress and promises of employment consideration in exchange for sex.

Articles were published, even in the conservative Orange County Register. TV and radio reporters at LA-based stations got interested. And Carona—perhaps America’s smoothest-talking sheriff—went to Plan B. He granted interviews only to trusted reporters and wore his now perfected who-me face. Then he invited reporters and the California attorney general’s office to investigate.

His gamble wasn’t entirely insane: many reporters are spineless, lazy and awed by power. The attorney general’s office is understaffed, overworked and often loath to act on explosive, politically sensitive revelations—like the one that our balding, 51-year-old sheriff might be a slut. Satisfied by his own careful calculations, Carona claimed he welcomed their probes. So to speak.

A few months later, however, the Weekly found evidence of the sheriff’s insincerity. In a phone message, he confided to defense lawyer Joseph G. Cavallo, his drinking buddy of 26 years, that he would retaliate against anyone who stepped forward with additional claims. It’s no idle threat, coming as it does from a man with high-level police powers, an annual budget of $580 million, high-tech surveillance and bugging equipment and thousands of employees ready to follow orders. Carona is also a senior Homeland Security advisor to President George W. Bush and Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.

The threat frightened several of the women who’d complained; it helped keep other women publicly silent. But the intimidation tactics failed on the one person who could easily unravel the sheriff’s duplicity: Jaramillo, Carona’s longtime confidant who was fired in March 2004. The two men, who once called each other “brother for life,” have become bitter enemies.

It was Jaramillo’s voice mail that Carona inadvertently redialed during his May 2001 encounter with the woman in the vehicle. That record was preserved and is now in the hands of the Weekly and the state attorney general’s office. The lengthy audio recording sounds like a scene in a 1970s porn flick. Read it, and as you do, supply your own funky bass line:

It’s dark out, and Orange County’s sheriff is giddy inside a white Honda SUV. He gives his female companion a breath mint, then leans over and kisses her. When he’s done, Carona says, “You’re so fucking cute.”

There are sounds of renewed physical contact. Moments earlier, it was the lawman who moaned and groaned. Now it’s the woman who is expressing pleasure. She says nothing but giggles over and over. Carona whispers something inaudible. The woman giggles again.

She later recalls that the sheriff had been fondling her.

Unaware, Carona’s wife and young son stand 50 feet away. Before exiting the SUV to join his family and attend an official function, the sheriff savors the moment with a sigh. He asks if there’s lipstick smeared on his face; emboldened, he says he has half a mind not to wipe off the lipstick.

And then he tells his employee, “I mean, I gotta tell you, I . . . love . . . you!

This is a history of Mike S Carona, the Orange County Sheriff of the past many years. We are absolutely appalled by the things this man has done, and yet he is still THE SHERIFF of ORANGE COUNTY! the 5th largest department in the US

Mike Carona and Rick Rizzolo (FBI noted Mob Boss)

Mike Carona and Rick Rizzolo
Mike Carona and Rick Rizzolo

Pictures speak volumes, and they can raise questions—like what the hell was Sheriff Mike Carona thinking when he posed for a photo with Rick Rizzolo, a man the FBI calls a mob associate?

That’s Rizzolo—shirt untucked, gold bracelet and pinky ring, cocktail, smile—with his arm draped around Orange County’s top cop. Rizzolo is a wealthy man, a Las Vegas strip club owner with unusual access to Nevada politicians, Hollywood celebrities, and colorful criminals who’ve been featured in mob books and movies. Even by that standard, his time with Carona, who hails himself as “America’s sheriff,” must have seemed surreal. It’s not often, if ever, that a big-shot California cop will openly party with a well-known underworld figure.

Anyway, the Mike Carona story kinda goes like this…

Michael Carona used his huge business and underworld connections to get himself elected as the top cop, once he was in office, he made all his buddies deputies giving them guns and badges so they can run a muck in the city, get paid and not get into trouble. There are 80 something people (buddies) he made deputies. Some of those buddies are mobsters, felons and have been abusing thier new sherrifs badges. Go figure.

Mike Carona gave a man who associates with the mob a badge of his own, Mr. Glusman. It did not take Glusman long to abuse his new found power. In July, a Newport Beach shop owner refused to let Glusman use a private parking space. Glusman cursed and flashed his sheriff’s badge. “How do you like that?” he yelled. The shop owner, a former cop, wasn’t impressed. He reported the incident to police. Glusman resigned in October before internal-affairs agents could finish their investigation.

Carona also got some press for getting another buddies kid off the hook, Don Haidl. Don Haidl’s son was part of a gang rape of a teen girl, and on another arrest had drugs on him. He got a slap on the wrist, normally, when you rape a minor, you go straight to jail… not with Carona Monopoly get out of jail free card though.

Michael Carona swears in felony deputies and his buddies Heidl and Gusman
Michael Carona swears in felony deputies and his buddies Heidl and Gusman
Don Haidl is a wealthy businessman who won appointment as assistant sheriff after raising the most money for Carona’s first campaign, paid the state attorney general’s office $104,000 to end a whistleblower action alleging fraudulant business deals. Charles Gabbard, the largest individual contributor to Carona’s 2002 re-election campaign, is a convicted felon (murder, robbery, burglary) seeking police agency contracts; last year, Carona had promised Gabbard the free use of inmate labor at the same time Gabbard was funneling $29,000 in illegal contributions to the sheriff’s campaign.

Wow, great group of friends for the top cop!

What is sick about this is that everyone has known about this completely corrupt TOP COP for 8 years and only now that it has really gottan bad, is anyone asking for his resignation. WOW, can’t all of us convicted felons get FREE inmate labor at the tax payers expence? Sheriffs badges? A payroll? Company guns? Get out of jail free cards? and county contracts at inflated rates? If you know Michael Carona, you sure the hell can!
